I am a licensed professional counselor. I specialize in treating issues related to trauma and abuse, substance abuse, ADHD, depression and anxiety. I approach therapy from a strength based perspective. I believe that focusing on the problem can distract from finding a solution. I approach my clients with respect and empathy but also with the belief that making changes can be hard and sometimes takes a push in the right direction.

I specialize in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing). EMDR is a revolutionary therapy that uses eye movement to help work through trauma more quickly than in other therapeutic approaches.
