“I have a wealth of experience working with clients on a variety of emotional issues. Clients tell me they appreciate my warmth, my caring and my attention. I work with people experiencing the distress of anxiety, depression, loss and grief, relationship and self-esteem issues. I'm experienced in working with addictions--both with family members and the addict. I also enjoy working with addicts in recovery who want to explore their core issues. Joining with a client in the process of healing and changing is a privilege I hold dear.

In half my practice I work with women who are married to or in relationship with men who are sexual addicts. These women have expressed their graditude for this opportunity to "recover their lives" from this devastating addiction/compulsion. (please see my information under "groups").”

Sexual addiction,within a relationship, is "crazy making" for the partner. With the advent of the availability of porn on the internet this addiction has turned epidemic. This confidential group is for women who have been living in isolation with shame and humiliation over their partners behaviors, as well as, their own shame for staying in the relationship. This successful and supportive therapy group focuses on stratagys to put the focus back on group members and on education about sexual addiction.
