You centered therapy...I understand that sometimes you just want to problem solve an issue. In most situations I use brief solution based therapy. I partner with you to help you mend important relationships, learn healthier coping skills, add some positive strategies, and live without self harm. I understand that sometimes people can get blindsided by emotional pain and can make terrible choices. I hope to be your "translator" to help you communicate issues without feeling vulnerable or judged. As your therapist I hope to help you untangle the mess so you can rebuild trust and start living positively again.
Dr Jenkins is board certified by the American Psychotherapy Association. She assists families with the stress of food allergies, pediatric anxiety/trauma, self injury, and young adult transition "launch" counseling. Since 1996 she has specialized in counseling adolescent and college aged clients in both educational and clinical settings.
Dr. Jennica Jenkins is scheduling new appointments for January 2015. New clients needing an immediate appointment may seek services provided by an PCCi or MFTi.
