Dr. Jey Hiott

Psychologist , PhD

(828) 515-1948
I am a Psychologist with over 30 years of experience. I work with individuals and with couples. Though I have worked with all ages over the years, I currently focus on individuals who are adolescents and older. I also have years of working with families of diverse needs, and now I especially enjoy working with couples. I am able to help with severe concerns and love to work with people toward their own personal growth and spirituality.
I employ various methodologies and approaches, depending on the needs of the client. Generally psychodynamic in approach, I use Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, the Enneagram and EMDR. I work with individuals and relationships. I especially enjoy working with couples, where we find IFS and the Enneagram extremely helpful.
I have years of experience but I'm always in training, learning better ways to help others. My practice is moving more toward a self-growth, spiritual practice and I welcome folks of all sexual orientations, religions, and ethnic backgrounds.
