“In my twenty-three years as a psychotherapist I have treated adults and children with a broad range of issues. In recent years I have developed a specialty as a couples therapist. My approach with both individuals and couples is thoughtful, practical and respectful. My first goal is to put people at ease so that a safe container is created within which each person can learn new ways of relating to themselves and others.

I am certified in the Gottman Method of couples therapy which is a very practical research-based approach to strengthening the marital friendship while learning to have conflict in a constructive rather than destructive way.

I have excellent success with helping couples turn their relationships around in a relatively short period of time. I am skilled at helping each person learn to convey their feelings in a way their partner can hear and be responsive to.”
