“Life is about changing and moving through challenging times to better times. I will help you find the tools you need for change; esteem, competence and strength. I have been a psychotherapist in private practice 30 years focusing on adults and adult issues. My approach is recognized for offering positive results to people who have been struggling with significant life-issues. My therapeutic work offers respect, empathy, and acceptance. I am known for having a unique ability to connect with others using insight, experience, down-to-earth problem-solving, truthful support and appropriate humor.

There are two levels of life-issues; the presenting issue, and the life-eroding issue. Presenting issues brings a person to therapy. Life-eroding issues are often unrecognized, but cause many people to continue having problems outside of therapy. Life-eroding issues must also be addressed for successful completion of therapy.

I use several methods to provide effective results. I am a Professional Counselor, Chemical Dependency Counselor, a Fellow in the Association of Scientific Hypnotherapy, certified in Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). My work includes trauma recovery, personal crisis, addictions, stress-related illness, and chronic pain.”

Taking the first step toward getting help is often the most difficult
