Life's stressors can sometimes induce emotional tension, physical problems and other related symptoms. This impairs our ability to function in a normal way. A comfortable, safe setting where issues are clearly assessed and the road to resolution established is the function of beginning psychotherapy. A seasoned, well trained clinician provides the best opportunity for successfully accomplishing this endeavor. As Director and Training Supervisor of an Institute, and in my private practice, I bring thirty years of experience and expertise to my clients. In addition to treating anxiety, depression, addictions, and other issues I have a sub-speciality in working with adoptees.

People who were adopted tend to have specific issues related to the fact that they were separated from their biological roots. These issues not only affect the adoptee, but the adoptive family as well. Treating adoptees and their families, requires the special training and skills I have developed over the years.

I provide treatment in Individual, Couple or Family modalities as indicated by the presenting problem and the comfort level of the client. In addition, Group Therapy is available which offers effective treatment at a reduced rate. Establishing therapeutic goals and mutual understanding is the foundation of successful psychotherapy.
