“We live our lives in patterns. I try to help my clients discover those patterns that interfere with their happiness and success. That is the easy part. The hard part is to rework behaviors and thoughts that make us repeat old patterns; then practice, practice, practice new and rewarding ones. I try to provide a safe environment while you try out different interactions, responses, and approaches to solving your problems. All of this requires patience on both our parts and your willingness to try new things.

Many of my clients come with health problems, ranging from heart problems, to cancer, diabetis, COPD and dementias. I focus on the depression and anxiety that come with health problems, especially as we age.

My associate not only speaks Spanish; she is from Mexico. So we can offer Spanish language services that are culturally appropriate.”
