I am a neurologist and psychiatrist in private practice in Manhasset NY (Long Island). My practice specialties are adolescent and adult psychopharmacology, general psychotherapy and headache management. I am also certified to prescribe and provide Suboxone (Buprenorphine) to patients for in-office treatment of opiate addiction and I am an injector for Vivitrol, the new monthly injection for alcohol abuse prevention. I also use TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation) for depression. Please refer to my website for more details at www.manhassettms.com
I focus on eclectic cognitive and dynamic therapies for individuals and couples. I am an expert in neuropsychopharmacology, particularly in areas of overlap between neurology and psychiatry: headache, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's dementia, restless legs syndrome, among others. I also treat depression, anxiety, PTSD, personality disorders and ADHD.
I maintain great accessibility to my patients, which is one of the most important aspects of psychiatric private practice. I have admitting/ consultation privileges at North Shore University Hospital, Manhasset NY. I am a clinical assistant professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, & Clinical Instructor at NYU School of Medicine.
