I believe that our mental health 'symptoms' are often our psyche's way of calling us to a different way of living. Each struggle in our lives is an opportunity for self-awareness and personal growth. Through many years of experience, I have developed an integrated approach utilizing the best practices in the field of psychotherapy. My approach adapts to the uniqueness of each individual and their own personal story, beliefs and interests. The foundation of my work is the development of a meaningful, trusting relationship with my clients.
I work with people when they are feeling overwhelmed, struggling through significant losses or working through difficult relationships. Some are contemplating spiritual or existential questions. Others choose to work with me to help resolve depression, anxiety, or other emotional factors that are interfering with overall wellbeing.
My clients experience relief from symptoms or stressors and cultivate insight, skills and resilience in order to create lasting personal change. I will collaborate with you to fully identify and understand your concerns and together we will determine an approach, or combination of approaches, that seems most appropriate to your needs and goals.
