Survivors of Sexual Assault group offers a safe, healing circle in which to recover from sexual trauma. Through education and interactive exercises, group members learn about typical responses to assault and how to cope with the intense feelings resulting from sexual trauma. By sharing stories and offering support to one another, survivors forge bonds which help them break through secrecy and shame, and emerge empowered. The group is free of charge, thanks to the sponsorship of the Sexual Assault Support Services division of the Crisis Call Center. Please call Judith to find out if this group will fit for you.
