Dr. Julian Manetti-Cusa

Psychologist , PsyD

(917) 791-3049
I am a licensed clinical psychologist who provides psychotherapy services to adults, adolescents, children, and families. I specialize in short-term treatment and cognitive-behavior therapy for anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and mind-body issues. As a therapist I am caring and approachable, and I strive to balance empathy with an engaged and interactive style. I am multilingual (Spanish and Italian) and enjoy working with people from all different backgrounds. I pride myself in approaching my therapeutic work with a focus on the integration of mind, body and spirit.
I have served as the director of a mental health program at a major hospital treating people affected by 9/11; and have a faculty appointment at NYU School of Medicine. This academic background has allowed me to integrate empirically based methods in my therapeutic work with flexibility and empathy.
I have training in many different treatment modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness based therapies. Please feel free to call or send me an email for a consultation. My office is conveniently located near Union Square, Madison Square Park, and Chelsea.
