Dr. Julie Satz

Psychologist , PsyD

(646) 526-4271
I have over 20 years of experience consulting to individuals, couples and kids. If you are struggling with a problem behavior or strained relationship, or if your child or teen is struggling with you or in school, I will collaborate with you to carefully assess the problem in order to intervene more effectively. I have a genuine, interactive approach that focuses on helping people become more effective and satisfied in life and families feel better about their interactions with each other.
I have intensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) which can help address problem behavior patterns and teach new coping skills. I offer skills coaching between sessions when needed to build and reinforce new strategies. I work with kids and parents to navigate life transitions and support healthier family patterns.
I work with adults, teens and children struggling with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, academic issues, and parenting. If you're ready to start, but aren't sure who to choose, feel free to call or email--I'm happy to help you find the right referral.
