Dr. Julie Satz

Psychologist , PsyD

(646) 526-4271
If you have reached an impasse in your relationships or career or notice that you aren't feeling as good as you should, I can help you clarify the issues getting in your way, and set you on the path of trying something new and ultimately feeling better. If your child or teenager is struggling with you or in school, I will collaborate with you to carefully assess what's happening in order to intervene most effectively. I have a genuine, interactive approach that integrates the importance of accepting what is and changing what can.
I have intensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) which can help address problem behavior patterns and teach new coping skills; I offer skills coaching between sessions when needed to reinforce healthier behavior patterns.
I work with adults, teens and children struggling with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, academic issues, and parenting. If you're ready to start, but aren't sure who to choose, feel free to call or email--I'm happy to help you find the right referral.
