I develop a therapeutic relationship which is collaborative and empowering. I believe that all individuals have unique strengths and capacities to face the challenges in their lives. I help clients build on these strengths in order to grow, rather than focus on deficits. Through the therapy process, solutions and plans to move forward reveal themselves, as the client grows more confident in their strengths, intuition and ultimately their vision for their life. I believe that we all heal best in a supportive environment where we can trust that our voice is being heard, and our stories honored.

I work with adult and teenage clients on coming out issues, sexual orientation and gender identity concerns, family and relationship concerns, domestic and sexual violence issues, anxiety, and depression. My practice is inclusive of all identities and I have extensive experience working with transgender and gender variant individuals.

My unique background includes years of social justice advocacy, specifically in the anti-violence field and with the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning community. I have also worked with the homeless, people with severe and persistent mental illness, teens, people living with HIV/AIDS, and incarcerated individuals.
