For 28 years I have helped people solve problems and overcome life's difficulties. My expertise is the treatment of depression and anxiety, parent coaching, relationship difficulties, and reducing the risk for depression and bipolar relapse.
I work with adults and teens over the age of fourteen using cognitive behavioral, interpersonal, and solution focused therapy. I also offer six-week skill-building classes on topics such as reducing the risk for depression, bipolar relapse prevention, and resiliency training for women.
In addition to being a mental health clinician, I am the award-winning author of Raising Depression-Free Children (Hazelden Publishers). As a recognized expert in the areas of depression, childhood depression, and parenting I have spoken nationally and made several radio and regional television appearances (Pacific Northwest).
