This 14 week group meets for 2 hours weekly and teaches DBT Skills - Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotional Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness. It offers step-by-step exercises for learning and putting skills in place for real and lasting change. By participating in a skills-oriented group, group members benefit from a structured, positive peer experience geared towards learning and finding solutions to ongoing life stressors. This group has been running for several years, and new groups begin each January, May, and September. I co-facilitate this group with Carol Miles, LCSW. NEXT START DATE: **Sept 4**, 2012.
