I believe that people recreate patterns in their relationships in therapy. Because of this, I believe our relationship is vitally important to understanding struggles in your life. I work with adults and adolescents as well as individuals, couples and families. I have general specialities in mood or behavior concerns. In addition, I have specific specialties in addictions/substance abuse, weight loss/obesity, ADHD, and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender issues as well as HIV/AIDS.

I have developed a customizable program, backed by research and updated with the latest scientific findings for the treatment obesity, weight loss and body images issues. My approach includes a comprehensive assessment and a holistic plan that considers the different roles food plays in our lives and starts with the easiest changes first.
