Dr. Laura Lochner

I help people who are experiencing depression, anxiety, fear, effects from trauma and abuse, health concerns, and low self-esteem. The kind of psychotherapy I provide helps people better understand their thoughts, feelings and actions. I also help people achieve a deeper understanding of their motivations and emotions. The self-understanding I have obtained through participating in my own psychotherapy informs my work with patients. I find that I work particularly well with people who want to work hard to understand themselves. And, I am drawn to working with people who can commit to longer term psychotherapy. I only see adults.

I am trained as a counseling psychologist. I am obtaining additional training as a psychoanalyst. This training helps me focus on each individual's unique concerns. I enjoy working with people who desire to change and improve their lives. I strive to build strong relationships with those whom I work.
