“I've been working as a therapist in Santa Fe for over 10 years. Currently,I supervise and practice at a clinic and I also work from my private office. I have in-depth training and experience in both mental health and substance abuse issues. I work with individuals, couples and families in both these areas. My orientation is solution-focused and strength-based. I use cognitive- behavioral techniques as well as a psychodynamic approach when this appears helpful and relevant. Also, I feel that my extended background as a visual artist helps me to utilize creative thinking and flexibility in my approaches.

I am also trained in Community Reinforcement Approach (CRA) and Community Reinforcement and Family Therapy (CRAFT) and MI (Motivational Interviewing). These allow inclusive and focused consideration of the many elements involved in our problems and most importantly, in our solutions.

Not to be too repetitive.. I feel that the combination of open, creative thinking with evidence-based treatment, creates a respectful and effective therapeutic approach which is helpful to many.”
