Dr. Leslie Levine Adler

Psychologist , PhD , LP , EMDR , Consult

(952) 388-2380
I work with children and adults (see below). For 25 years, pediatricians have been referring patients to me for issues of anxiety, depression, adhd, trauma or adjustment in order to figure out the child's needs and to build the coping skills and resillience that child will need in his/her life. In addition, I work with the parents to hone their parenting to fit the needs of that child. I've had the pleasure of seeing many children grow up as they use sessions at different times in their lives to navigate struggles.
I work with all ages to deal with trauma of a recent event or an older event where somehow the past is still present and intruding in daily life. In order to do this I use EMDR, a well researched and effective method to process trauma.
My continued learning, teaching and consulting keep me fresh in my approach to clients, partnering with each to identify the best approach. For over 7 years I have been serving as an EMDR consultant training therapists. I also have a strong interest in cross-cultural issues and immigrant adjustment.
