Counseling is a collaborative effort with both of us working to find solutions to challenges you are facing. I am an integrative therapist. One theory/approach does not fit all individuals. I mainly utilize cognitive/behavior or systems approach. I have experience working with children, adolescents and adults dealing with life challenges (depression, abuse loss/grief, anger and self esteem, pre-marital). My doctorate is in clinical psychology, focused on psychology in a clinic situation inorder understand individual clients needs. I have a post masters specialty in marriage/family therapy. I provide individual, couples, family, group counseling and Life Coaching

I beleive in working together with the client to develop a solution to their problems. I specialize in marriage and family, sexual abuse, trauma issues, depression, anger managment, and pre-marital counseling. Groups include: grief recovery, social skills for early adolescents, parenting skills, strengthening marriage, and survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

I am trilingual and understand the challenges of cross cultural living, as I have lived on three continents. I offer day time,mornings, evening, and saturday appointments. We focus on learning and applying the techniques to assist individuals in starting and manting a healthy marriage. Some of the areas covered are communication, finances and conflict resolution. This is specifically designed for individuals desiring a faith based approach to marriage preparation. The class consists of instruction, couple work, video, and class participation. This is a group for survivors of childhood sexual abuse. It is informative and interactive in nature. We cover one topic per week and the group runs for 8 weeks.
