Ms. Linda O'Malley

Counselor , CAGS , LMHC , CH

So you have decided to seek therapy. I will be interested in learning about your strengths and resiliencies as well as your issues so we can co-design your individual pathway to healing. How do you want your life to be different? How have you gotten through past difficulties? Are you creative? More concrete? Are you spiritual? Do you ruminate about the past? Worry about your future? Your responses will result in creating strategies and goals to improve your life.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness with my clients. I am also a certified Hypnotherapist. Hypnosis is not covered by insurance but is affordable and is a wonderful compliment to traditional therapy. For more information: www.bristolrihypnotherapy.com
I have studied principles of Positive Psychology and lessons from A Course in Miracles. Wayne Dyer, Carolyn Myss, and Eckhart Tolle are several of my favorite authors. I practice meditation & mindfulness, use these to help with anxiety and depression and find them compatible with traditional therapy approaches and hypnosis.
