I see counseling as a process in which the client(s) and I, having come to understand and trust one another, work as a team to explore and define present problematic situations, develop future goals for an improved life, and work in a systematic fashion toward realizing those goals. I work with clients in a variety of formats, including individuals (adults and children), couples, and families. I see clients of all ages, ethnicities, and backgrounds.

The majority of my coursework focused on marriage and family issues, though I also work with individuals and families on various concerns. I specialize in grief and have a background in nursing, but instead felt called to help people emotionally. I promote health and wholeness in mind, body, and spirit.

Maladaptive patterns of thoughts and actions are explored from a Biblical perspective. Though I'm a Christian, I don't intend to impose any beliefs upon you. I respect your right to your beliefs and hope you respect mine. Please understand that my views may reflect those of Biblical principles.
