We all face difficult life situations and challenges. I counsel adults and adolescents dealing with anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, parent-child relational issues, sport psychology and insomnia. I use a practical and behavioral approach to coping with problems. I believe in solution focused strategies for the individual. Counseling can teach individuals new ways to cope, communicate, change perspective and establish healthy patterns. Treatment can be brief with positive results to help people live a happier and more fulfilling life.

I have a unique perspective on performance anxieties and system dynamics as an previous Division I athlete for Duke University. My experience has been beneficial in terms of helping others with sports psychology, performance in competitive environments, teamwork, interpersonal skills and establishing healthy patterns.

Taking the first step toward getting help is often the most difficult
