In addition to working for Peterson Counseling, I also work with patients in an intensive outpatient program. The patients I treat suffer from major psychological disorders. I facilitate individual and group therapy, addressing such issues as coping skills, communication, cognitive improvement, and decompensation prevention.
Being a counseling intern, I can not bill insurance companies, so therefore I am able to offer reasonable rates to those that are uninsured or underinsured.
