Ms. Lori Brax

Clinical Social Work/Therapist , LMSW

(785) 693-2489
I help people live happy and productive lives by offering professional advice and therapy for common mental health problems we face on a daily basis. I often address issues such as grief, stress reduction, depression and anxiety. I have a special interest in working with people who tend to over-collect, which may lead to excessive clutter and disorganization. I work well with clients who have disabilities by drawing on their strengths and suggesting therapeutic practices. As a social worker, I provide marital therapy, individual therapy and group therapy.
I have worked in the prison system to help people with anger issues. For many years, I worked with vulnerable adults and agencies that advocate for their rights. I help couples enhance their marital relationships and assist them in parenting their children.
I have lived in the Salina area most of my life and am familiar with social service agencies and providers to make appropriate referrals when needed. I have Prepare/Enrich marital therapy training. If clients are unable to come to my office, I make house calls.
