Dr. Louis Nidorf

Psychologist , PhD

(760) 913-9729
An ideal client for my practice is an individual who is intelligent and motivated to change. It is a person (young or old) whose self image is tarnished and who desires to develop a feeling of well-being and personal effectiveness. It is a person who is stressed and seeks peace. It is a person who is sad and disatified and wishes to feel joy and contentment.
My specialty areas include the treatment of anxiety (including PTSD)and depression in children, adolescents, and adults. I also help in the resolution of marital problems. And, finally I treat addictive behavior and dual disorders.
I am highly experienced as a therapist with more than 30 years in private practice. My prefered modes of treatment are hypnotherapy, cognitive/behavioral therapy, psycho-dynamic treatment, and couples counseling. Choice of treatment depends upon the patient and the problem.
