My practice is tailored to respect each individual's needs in therapy. In our work together we will use dialogue and optional mind-body activities to build on your strengths and develop effective life skills.
I provide diverse therapeutic perspectives as appropriate to your needs including: cognitive-behavioral; psychodynamic; Jungian; Mind-Body and Expressive Arts Therapy with a specialization in Dance-Movement Therapy(DMT). DMT uses dance and other forms of movement to further healing and growth by stimulating insight into and change in thoughts, feelings and emotions.
A unique feature of my practice is a focus on the whole person: mind and body, and the use of Dance, Movement, other Expressive Arts and Mind-Body practices to promote emotional and physical well-being.

Although it says for heterosexual clients, this group is open to ALL women of ANY sexual orientation (there was no choice for that in the drop down menu). This group will help you to awaken and reunite mind, body and spirit. Using a variety of movement, dance and mind-body activities we will reconnect thought, feeling, sensation and action. No previous dance experience is needed. This group runs September 2011-Dec. 2011 and Jan. 2012-May 2012.
