Many people begin therapeutic work with me because they are ready to make a change, but do not know how to begin or feel stuck. Sometimes life changes, work stress, relationships and family problems can become stressful or hard to manage. This can lead to anxiety, depression, or unhealthy ways of coping. My style in therapy is supportive, calm, and non-judgmental, and I work to create a confidential space to explore the issues and challenges that are most important to you.

I am interested in understanding what is happening in your life, so we can work together to identify self-defeating patterns and develop useful strategies for positive change. I will help you explore your difficulties so you can understand them more deeply.

I provide individual, couples and group therapy services in brief or long-term treatment. I have extensive experience working with addiction as well as chronic medical issues such as HIV and Hepatitis. My therapy practice is diverse regarding race, culture and sexual orientation.
