Unlike some CB therapists, my style is responsive, interactive & versatile, combining elements of psychodynamic, family/systems, and other approaches. As a respected senior clinician with 40 years of experience, I’m sought out as a therapist and mentor by other mid-career therapists. I have skill and expertise in couples and family therapy, helping teens and tweens and their families, and persons with Bipolar or Borderline Personality Disorder and their families.
My approach to improving mood and emotional regulation focuses on scientifically proven, effective, cutting-edge, non-medication approaches such as Social Rhythm Therapy and Chronotherapy. Originally focused treating “winter blues,” Chronotherapy has developed a wide array of interventions to improve mood, inattention, irritability and more.
