It takes a certain level of self-love, self-appreciation, and self-actualization to get this far in looking for a therapist. It would be great if others could appreciate you as much. I think it takes a special person to go against personal, cultural, and public opinion to get help with a problem you need to solve, an emotion you want to extinguish, or a goal you want to reach. You have what it takes to get this done, but you may not have the structure to support you.

I will help you develop a structure by giving you an assignment to complete between sessions. The assignments will help identify the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that get in the way of you achieving your goals, develop mastery in overcoming these obstacles, and reclaim your value.

I am an Adjunct Professor at New York University and Hunter College and believe in my students, my clients, and their possibilities. Book your face-to-face, Skype, or phone consultation by calling, emailing or visiting http://jove.org/joomla/schedule.

Social Skills Group
Marcos A. Quinones, 237 W. 37th St ste 702, New York, New York
Every Thursday at 7pm - 9pm
$50 - $50 per session

Scary to think that you could actually sit in a group with others and discuss your problems, I know. That is why this group emphasizes emotional safety. You can come in and speak about your homework and goals, or you can sit back and listen to others speak until your comfortable. The important thing is that you come out and speak to the group at your pace. This group explores the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that get in the way of socializing. Looking to meet a life long partner, friends, or socialize at work events? We'll get you there

Email Mr. Marcos Quinones about this group or call (646) 719-0790
Gay Men's Therapy Group

So take the first step and sign up for a screening interview before the Summer arrives. Only a couple slots left.
