Perhaps you are struggling with stress, depression, self-doubt, failure, or loneliness. You may find yourself trapped in troubling patterns of feeling and acting, or feel disturbed by couple or family problems. Within a therapeutic relationship based in understanding and acceptance, we work towards growth, better coping and relief from problems. With over 25 years of experience I offer psychotherapy, couple counselling, family therapy, and parent counselling. I am familiar with many problems including depression, anxiety, self-esteem, grief, trauma, ADHD, Learning Disabilities and Aspergers. Together we seek to achieve understanding in depth and lasting change.

I work with couples who are coping with conflicts about lifestyle, sex, money, children and in-laws, poor communication, emotional distance and infidelity. I work with families of all ages who are confronting a range of conflicts, stresses and estrangement as well as behavioural and emotional difficulties.

With couples and families, we work towards understanding between partners and family members. Conflict and anger come to be understood as efforts to protect oneself from hurt, sadness and fear. We work together to avoid hurtful interactions, to increase those that repair injuries and to facilitate goodwill and warmth.
