“Over the past 15 years, I have worked with many people struggling with a variety of issues including: relationship and communication difficulties, depression/anxiety, sexual problems, symptoms related to trauma and loss, workplace and parenting struggles. I provide a safe, caring environment for clients to explore complex and often very painful issues in a contained, constructive manner. Together, we develop goals and examine problematic patterns of feeling, thinking and behaving. I provide a fresh perspective and help clients move from feelings of helplessness to a sense of competency.

I have a Masters of Science in Couple & Family Therapy from the University of Guelph (AAMFT accredited program) and a Specialized Honours degree in Psychology from York University. My post-graduate training includes: Intensive Sex Therapy Certification, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Certification, trauma treatment and Custody Assessments (www.custodyassessments.com).

My private, professional office is conveniently located near the Yonge and Eglinton Subway Station. Weekend and evening appointments are available with the first appointment offered within 2 business days. My fees are covered by most private insurance providers. I provide short-term solution-focused counselling or longer in-depth psychotherapy.”
