"Change happens at the border of chaos." ~Margaret Wheatley. This challenging fact often requires shifting to a new paradigm in belief and behavior. Clients and I work together seeking useful ways to navigate through the personal chaos to create desired change. I see people wanting to resolve tough decisions, change unwanted patterns, attend to grief, manage/improve difficult emotional states, heal trauma, quest for personal growth and happiness. In my 25+ years of experience I have seen great courage and success in people creating more of the life they seek. My rich and diverse background in psychotherapy provides safety, knowledge, and individualized care.
The foundation of my practice is on relationships: to others, within oneself and to the environment. How do we relate to change, transition or stress? Issues of family, finances, health, career, are often difficult, scary, exciting. I support people to determine their own best possibilities and follow through.
I am an avid outdoors woman and believe strongly in the connection to nature being essential for well being. While much of our current culture highlights separation of mind and body it is my belief that supporting this connection brings greater lightness to the spirit and more capacity for joy.
