Dr. Marilyn J Wooley

Psychologist , PhD

(530) 419-6006
My ideal client is motivated and willing to work hard to achieve their therapeutic goals. I take a practical, direct approach to problem solving. My hypoallergenic therapy dog, Dood, assists with treatment and promotes a calming environment.
I have extensive experience in the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress and related disorders, and am proficient in both Eye Movement Desensitization /Reprocessing and Thought Field Therapy. I also treat the families of individuals suffering from stress-related disorders.
I'm certified through the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation to teach Critical Incident Stress Management (Group Crisis Intervention/ Assisting Individuals in Crisis) to law enforcement, fire, EMS, government agencies, private companies, and medical facilities. I have served as a volunteer for the West Coast Post-trauma Retreat since 2001.
