“I am a Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist in Advanced Practice. I have Prescriptive authority in South Carolina and am supervised by a female Psychiatrist. My main clinical focus is with Adult and Geriatric clients and their families. My specialties include depression, anxiety, Post traumatic stress, Alzheimer's and Dementia treatment/ evaluation, and medication management. I am open to most all types of clients and diagnoses. My ideal client works hard to get to his/her set goals for optimum mental health.

I love working with all adults and elderly clients. I use cognitive behavioral methods with alternative approaches to reduce anxiety and stress. I educate my clients to understand and cope with their feelings and thoughts. I use breathing and visual imagery exercises as an adjunct to my client-centered/interpersonal theories.

I am an Advanced Practice Clinical Nurse Specialist, which allows me to prescribe psychotropic medications to my clients. I am supervised by a psychiatrist where we practice an integrative model of treatment.”
