My ideal client is open to the exploration of his/herself through the ritual of telling his/her story. I listen and help link childhood memories to insights through psychotherapeutic interpretation. My ability to draw from personal loss and experience helps me guide others through the sometimes painful exploration of the self. I work with individuals, often supplementing with group therapy, to help them recognize and understand the obstacles in their way.

I offer indivual psychotherapy, grief counseling around the untimely death of loved ones,group therapy, group training experience for graduate counseling students, and couples therapy.

Having suffered multiple personal losses, I have a strong natural ability to empathize with my clients.
