Feeling stuck, anxious, discouraged or unfulfilled? Does a recent loss or life change feel overwhelming?. Taking the steps to reach out for support, especially when you are used to handling things well on your own, is not easy. But, different phases of life pose distinct challenges. My approach is interactive and collaborative. Your goals and your pace will inform our work together. I will create a safe space for you to feel understood and respected, comfortable being fully yourself, as we develop a strategy for symptom relief, stress management, healing and growth.
Specialties include working with issues of depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, self-defeating behaviors,career/relationship dissatisfaction, sexuality, stress management, grief/loss( including pet loss) and trauma. Extensive experience treating disordered eating, weight/body image issues. I provided long /short term outpatient treatment at The Renfrew Center of New York for 9 years.
Holistic approach integrating wellness of body, mind and spirit. One focus of my practice has been to help artists and athletes to identify and overcome setbacks that impede their desired performance
