In every person there exists a great potential to become actualized and the inner wisdom to accomplish this. By focusing on integrating mind and body we have the opportunity to heal past wounds and to create more satisfying and creative ways to relate to ourselves and the world. I offer a confidential, safe therapeutic space for individuals, couples and groups to transform personally and in relationships.
I work with people who are struggling with life events and circumstances, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief and loss, life transitions (divorce, empty nest), phobias, negative body image, "one-time" traumas like assault and motor vehicle accidents. I am bilingual and work with mixed-ethnicity couples and families.
I have 15 years of experience working with sexually abused children, non-offending parents of sexually- abused children and adult survivors of abuse. I have an expertise in treating adult men and women with ADHD. This includes psychosocial treatment and cognitive behavior therapy specifically targeted for ADHD.
