“The fundamental principle behind the work that I do is that life is constantly presenting us with new challenges and problems and that the only way to navigate through those problems is to learn to adapt. I believe we have the power to adapt to almost any situation. By focusing on our positive attributes and learning different ways to look at our situation, we can achieve the life that we truly want.

Because of the severe, life-threatening nature of eating disorders, it is important to work with a specialist. I use evidence-based techniques and work with a multi-disciplinary team for comprehensive treatment. I also offer a unique perspective of eating disorders that empowers clients to regain control of their lives

My enthusiasm and understanding of adolescents make me relatable to them. This is important in allowing adolescents to feel understood and safe, while also providing a professional perspective and helping them work towards making mature decisions and engage in positive behaviors.”
