My therapeutic approach is to establish a warm, holistic relationship with you that addresses issues that challenge a healthy mind, body, spirit and heart, with the goal of achieving balance through change and choice. You and I will work together to develop a individual plan and time-line for recovery by learning life-long coping and problem-solving skills. I will work with you on issues related to spousal and parental relationships, women's issues, transitions (divorce, lost job, grief, for example), addictions, career/work throughout the lifespan, anxiety/stress, depression, and trauma.

Counseling techniques used are primarily supportive, client-centered, brief and solution focused, cognitive behavioral, and EMDR. I have over 20 years experience working with clients ages 13-65. The majority of my work has been with career counseling, transitions/change throughout the lifespan, and anxiety/stress management/wellness issues.

As a Distance-Credentialed Counselor, I can do follow-up work with you via phone or email. As a Master Career Counselor, I will work with you on planning a career path, defining an objective and an outline of how to get there, including use of a multitude of informational resources.
