“As a therapist, I help clients in the Kansas City area with issues particularly challenging to women and adolescent girls today such as: anxiety, depression, body image, stress, eating disorders, addictions, family and relationships. I also help clients who are feeling overwhelmed or stuck in life. I pride myself on offering hope, compassion, and professional expertise in a relaxing therapeutic environment

I have provided therapy since 1995. I received my graduate degree from the University of Denver. I am a member of NASW, ADAA (Anxiety Disorders Association of America), IAEDP (International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals), NEDA (National Eating Disorders Association of America) and PPI (Postpartum Support International).

In working with clients I implement aspects of various therapeutic orientations including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, MST or Multisystemic Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, and DBT or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.”
