As a therapist, I help clients in the Kansas City area with issues particularly challenging to women and adolescent girls today. I strive to help clients gain a better understanding of who they are and how to increase personal effectiveness with others resulting in stronger, healthier relationships. It is my mission to connect with each individual, develop trust in a nonjudgmental relaxing setting and provide tools to increase life skills, and personal strengths.

I work from a client-centered approach, focusing on cognitive messages you tell yourself and the life choices you make based on those messages. I implement aspects of various therapeutic orientations including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Multisystemic Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems and DBT.

I enjoy empowering women with maintaining peace, balance and positive growth.
