Someone once said "this is not the dress rehersal for the next life" This statement describes the philosophy of my practice .Using therapeutic techniques tailored to your personality and goals in counseling, my role is to help you make the most of your strenghs and abilities so that you live life to it's fullest. This is a collaborative relationship in which we work together to eliminate those obstacles that cause you depression, anxiety and other symptoms that make life more of a struggle than a joy. As an active engaged therapist who does more than sitting and nodding my head.

I specialize in assisting people with symptoms of depression, anxiety and trauma . I specialize in the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I also teach relationship skill development and provide premarital counseling

You will find my office comfortable and welcoming. As it is attached to my home {but not a part of it} you are not entering an impersonal office building but walking through a garden to the waiting room and my office When appropriate and necessary, I make visits to clients homes.
