“I most enjoy working with people struggling to cope with all the challenges of daily living. These include improving relationships, recovering from trauma, and learning to love and accept all the facets of oneself. Common goals include: understanding how past experiences impact today, learning to live in the present, and planning a future worth showing up for.

My specialty is helping people find the strength within themselves to heal from trauma. This includes the trauma of physical and sexual abuse, domestic violence, serious illness or injury, all forms of grief and loss.

I have experience and special interest in working with Native American and African American individuals and families. In addition to private practice, I work as part of a team providing medically and legally sound assessments for children suspected of having been abused.”
