Mrs. Michelle K Dubay

Drug & Alcohol Counselor , LIMHP , LADC , PC

(402) 835-0966
Do you feel like you've come to a fork in the road and find yourself looking for solutions in all the wrong places? Wouldn't it be nice to feel emotionally hardy with a wealth of tools to cope with life instead of turning to drugs, alcohol, or other self-damaging behaviors. You do not have to do it alone. It is my goal to offer you the tools you need to manage your emotions, your stress and your addiction.
My experience includes working with addictions, parenting, blended families, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I have an excellent knowledge of recovery, I facilitate substance abuse and DBT Skills groups, and I love working with those in recovery who are struggling with the relationships issues that at times seem to plague sobriety.
I am credentialed as a licensed drug and alcohol counselor and an Independent Mental Health Practitioner. I am also a state preferred provider and I accept vouchers.

Katie and I worked together at the YWCA, we've been in DBT consult together for years and now we collaborate together at our current practice location. Katie is very good at working with couples and facilitating DBT groups not only for individuals, but also for organizations.

I recommend Karen Throener for her DBT skills, her integrity and her personal committment to her clients best interest. Karen practices a non-judgmental stance in her own life, and she works very well with a variety of populations including those individuals with specific sexual orientation issues.
Michelle and I have worked together for many years. She is a member of my consult team and dedicated DBT practicioner. Michelle is an expert on substance abuse and addiction. She adds new dimensions to treatment with her experience with cognitive behavioral therapy and DBT. Michelle and I work collaboratively in groups, couples and family therapy.
