Ms. Michelle Longino

Originally licensed and in successful private practice in California, I was licensed as an LMFT in Louisiana in 2002, when I moved to NOLA. I have over ten years of clinical experience working with individual adults, families, and couples. My treatment orientation is based on sound research and includes cognitive-behavioral, experiential and training in couples' work, including Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy. I enjoy helping clients recognize their strengths and develop healthy skills to cope with life's challenges. I am skilled at treating a variety of issues including: depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, blended families, parenting, and couples' issues.

I have a history of community work, an integral part of my life after my move to NOLA, and I respect and am comfortable working with clients from a variety of backgrounds. I also have specialized training in couple's therapy, anxiety issues, and trauma and grief recovery.
