Mr. Mike King

Mr. King is a Licensed Professional Counselor. It is his belief that the relationship between the client and counselor is critical and that growth and healing is a result of this relationship. As this relationship develops relevant issues can be discussed and than processed, thus allowing the client to make choices that brings about growth and development. Many of our problems (depression, anxiety, anger, etc) are multifaceted and as we begin to deal with the issues surrounding those problems the symptoms decrease and our lives become fuller.

Mr. King has been in private practice since 2005, has worked as a high school counselor and currently works as an addiction counselor. He works from a Person Centered perspective, believes in his clients' ability to find their own solutions, and works with people of diverse cultures and faiths.

Mr. King specializes in treating addiction, depression, anxiety, anger, grief/loss, adjustment disorders, parenting issues, self-esteem, spirituality, and relationship issues. He works from a person centerd perspective and has extensive education and training in Jungian Psychology, art therapy, and dream work.
