Ms. Pamela Ann Marshall

My specialty is working with adult clients with trauma based childhoods/adult children of alcoholic parents, resulting in depression, anxiety, dissociation, addiction and unresolved sexual issues. I was previously a social worker with child abuse/neglect programs. I am currently expanding my practice focus to address mindful awareness approaches to stress reduction/conflicts and creativity blocks to the Self-Actualization process of writers and artists and visionaries embracing paradigm shifts. I have also worked as a writer-reporter for NPR and other journalistic venues. I employ eclectic approaches – cognitive behavioral, gestalt, REI (couples), psychodrama, mindful awareness, effective communication skills training, etc.

These are selected and based upon client needs and resources. I'm a member of the American Counseling Association, and affiliated with GLBIC and IAMFC, working with individuals and couples of all sexual preference. I seek clients who wish to address dysfunctional patterns and explore effective, meaningful ways to manage challenges.
