“I believe that successful therapy is characterized by clients making positive changes in their thinking and behavior. I strive to create an authentic relationship with my clients so that they can make these changes. This means that a client feels good about their therapist and views him/her as trustworthy, caring, healthy, competent and a moral person. I provide professional, caring psychotherapy in a solution-based therapeutic environment. I have over 15 years experience treating individuals, couples and families with a variety of issues.

Through the therapeutic relationship, I assist clients to understand how their relationships affect them, focus and resolve problems of living, assist in removing blocks to their personal growth and discover their inner resources. I specialize in anxiety, care-giving, depression, grief and loss, and relationship concerns.

My approach is warm and straight forward, utilizing cognitive-behavioral therapy strategies; providing options, educating, empowering clients to learn how to problem solve and make changes in their lives. I provide coping tools to the client towards resolving their problem. Other theoretical approaches are utilized when deemed more appropriate.”
